The highlight of the 2010 skating season is when skaters from all over the world meet for the 24H Rollers event in Le Mans, France.
It is difficult to compare 24H to another event as the experience superceeds most other events by size and splendor.
The start will be Saturday June 26 at 4 in the afternoon. The race ends 24 hours later.
The start follows the motor cycle tradition with skaters on one side of the track and skates on the other side.
Each team gets a position in the starting grid based on results from the qualifying race.
The goal of the race is to cover as much ground as possible in 24 hours – the team that skates the longest distance wins the race.
But it is not only about racing – 24H offers you an unforgettable experience on the most famous race track in the world: Bugatti, the home of 24 hour endurance racing.
The first race took place in year 2000 with 600 participants. This time, the organizers expect more than 15,000 skaters.
24H Rollers provides a fabulous and pleasant sporting experience for both professionals and amateurs on the Bugatti race track in Le Mans, France.
