Medical cares and massage


During 24 hours of skating, the muscles of the participants are roasted. So a medical space is provided to each competitor in order that they could skate in the best conditions.

The medical pole is a structure as quiet as possible and it is not less than 75 persons who work for it. To give the best cares, various areas of medical specialization work together during the weekend.

- The first-aid workers, the doctors and the nurses manage the urgency

- The physioes, the osteopaths and the chiropodists relieve the diverse pains generated by such an effort.

The pole is a fixed structure capable of treating the little scratches but also the serious injuries which are redirected towards the hospital.

The first-aid workers are present from Friday with the opening of the campsite. Different rescue posts are established on various areas on the track but also in the audience.
It is approximately 500 cares which are realized and tens of massages and manipulations. Magic words are rigor and cheerfulness throughout the weekend.
