The 24/7 "Ravit'eau" fountain
Since 2016, the water supply on the circuit has been replaced by a supply point before and after the relays. It is located at box No. 30 and the entrance to the relay area.
Due to concerns about water and plastic bottle waste, with over 5,000 litres of water and bottles thrown into the bins in 2015, the organisation has opted to set up a 24/7 "Fontaine Ravit'eau" (Water Refill Fountain) point.
The same amount of water as in previous years is available and hopefully will actually be consumed.
This refreshment is intended for relay times. It does not replace the hydration required and planned by each participant in a 24-hour event.
Each competitor can fill their own 50 cl can or bottle.
Everyone is free to take with them what they need to refuel on the circuit during their stint (e.g., bottle holder belt).
ONLY SOLO and DUO COMPETITORS are authorized to take a water supply on the track .
The organization has provided a refueling solution for them in the solo carpet area located at the start of the finishing straight.
