They determine your position on the starting grid in socks.
They take place on the pit straight
Saturday from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
At 2 p.m., each team will present a member equipped with a chip for a qualifying session (300m time recording), which determines the starting position. Any absence from this qualifying session will result in a start at the back of the grid.
DEPARTURE - Saturday at 4 p.m.
Le Mans-style start known as “Sock Start”.
-
Only 1 person per team appears, baton in hand, in the pit straight.
-
The team's position on the starting grid depends on its result in the qualifying session (at 2:00 p.m.).
-
Competitors position their rollers on one side of the track and position themselves opposite.
-
At the starting signal, they cross the track to put on their roller skates and set off for at least 2 laps.

THE RELAYS
Relays are carried out using a baton (as in athletics). The baton must be passed in the "relay zone".
The pit straight is divided into 2:
-
a corridor (1/3 of the track width) for those who do not stop.
-
a second corridor (2/3 of the track). “relay zone” for those doing their relay.
Relay zone: reserved for skaters
This demarcated “relay zone” is exclusively reserved for competitors wearing a helmet and their pair of roller skates.
Coaches and other accompanying persons must stand behind the wall provided for this purpose, otherwise their "Pass" will be withdrawn and the team will be penalized for 30 minutes.
