This section will be useful to help you prepare for the event and will allow you not to forget the essentials in view of your weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit:

If you are thinking about it for the first time, we are here to guide you towards your first Le Mans.
Here are some tips, a 10-POINT method to build your team and participate in the biggest roller skating challenge in the world:
1. The composition
A Captain-manager who will unite the team and orchestrate “The DEFIS 24H du MANS project”

2. Recruitment (from October-November)

Talk about the 24 Hours of Le Mans adventure to those around you: club or training partners, friends, family, etc. Many teams are created via social networks.

Talk about your project via social media.

A team exchange is possible to complete your team: Team exchange
3. Finance your registration (from October)
There are several ways to finance your participation:

Split the registration cost between teammates.
But also additional assistance:
-
Request the participation of your club in exchange for wearing its colors.

Approach partners such as your company or local businesses.

Launch a fundraising campaign:

On crowdfunding sites

By offering activities to local institutions
-
4. Register your team:
Once you have all these elements together, you can register your team here
Before January 10th you can benefit from preferential rates!!
5. Prepare the move (from May):
Choose your mode of transport:

Travel in personal cars between team members
-
Train (Group rate)
-
Because (request for quote…)
6. Prepare accommodation and catering (from May):
Take stock of the number of tents needed for camping:
Hotel room or team lodge to be closer to the relay area. Accommodation information
Check the on-site catering (meal reservations are possible) or plan “home-cooked meals” at the campsite (BBQ, pasta, etc.): catering information
Offer a possible “all-inclusive package” Registration + travel + accommodation.
7. Register crew members (from May)
Enter your teammates' information on the website in YOUR TEAM ACCOUNT, up to 10 days before the race.

To be provided in the team file online no later than 8 days before the event.

a scan of the FFRS license for the current season mentioning "competition" (note that manager licenses do not systematically have the competition mention).

or your medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to competitive roller skating, dated less than 1 year ago. ( model to download FRA/ENG)

8. Logistics (from June):
Take stock of the equipment in the team box in the paddocks: microwave, kettle, coffee maker, etc.

THE BIBS

To obtain the bibs, the team members' registration forms must be completed and validated at the latest 8 days before the event.

COMPETITION

Upper body / T-shirt similar to all members of your team

Wheel sets (especially special wheels in case of rain)

Plan what you need to equip your location in the boxes:

Extension cord / Power strips (Pay attention to the electrical installation in the box to avoid short circuits.)

Microwave / Coffee maker / Electric teapot (Stove, lighter and matches prohibited in the boxes)

Rope and hanger

Hook to attach your belongings to the grids in the boxes
Please note that the pitches are only 9 m², they are a waiting area between relays...
